QUEEN OF MY HEART
By Talia Pura
Adapted from correspondence between

“I want my dark lady. I want my angel. I want my tempter. I want my inspiration, my folly, my happiness, my divinity, my madness, my selfishness, my final sanity and sanctification, my transfiguration, my purification, my light across the sea, my darling and my star.”

George Bernard Shaw fell head over heels in love  with a leading actress of his day, Mrs. Patrick Campbell (Beatrice Stella). What blossomed into a one-year love affair transformed into a lifelong friendship, both supportive and challenging. Both Shaw's wife, Charlotte, and the widowed Stella's second husband were aware of this connection. This play is an adaptation of the letters that passed between them from 1899 to 1939: letters that trace the ebb and flow of their lives and careers, and their feelings for each other.

Cast Talia Pura as Mrs. Patrick Campbell, Brian Richardson as George Bernard Shaw
